Working with Asite Field Home

This article will explain the different options available on the Field Homepage.

  • After you log in to the Asite Field App and select a project, you will land on the Homepage.

  • The Homepage provides shortcuts to your frequently used files, forms and site tasks.

  • This allows you to access what you need quickly without scrolling through long lists.


Field Homepage Shortcuts

The shortcut options available on the Homepage are explained below.

Shortcut

Function

New Tasks

Number of new tasks assigned to you within the selected project.

Task Due Today

Number of tasks that are due on the current day.

Task Due This Week

Number of tasks due within the current week.

Overdue Tasks

Number of overdue tasks.

Explore Locations

Explore and switch between all available locations within the selected project.

  • NOTE: After users select a location, this option changes to Go To Previous Location, allowing them to return to the last visited location.

Choose & Raise a Form

Create a new form.

Recent Quality Plan

Redirects users to the most recently accessed Quality Plan.

  • NOTE: First-time users will be directed to the list of Quality Plans to select from. After you select a quality plan, it will then appear in the shortcut.


Functions in the Field Homepage

You can personalise your Field Homepage according to your preferences. There are two options available:

  • Remove a shortcut

  • Add new shortcuts to the Homepage


Remove a Shortcut

  1. Click Edit (top-right) on the Homepage.

  2. Click the Deleteicon on a shortcut to remove it.

NOTE: Click Done if you do not wish to make any further changes.


Add New Shortcuts to the Homepage

  1. On the Homepage, Click Edit (top-right).

  2. Tap the plus + icon (top-right).

    • A screen will appear showing shortcuts organised in different categories.

  3. Select a category.

  4. Select the action you want to create a shortcut for.

EXAMPLE:

  • In the Forms category, choose Raise a Specific Form.

  • A list of available form types for the project will appear.

  • Select a form to create a shortcut for.

  • Click Confirm at the bottom of the screen.

  • The shortcut to raise a Request for Proposal form will be added.

TIP: After clicking Edit, you can rearrange shortcuts on the screen by dragging and dropping them. To do that, tap and hold a shortcut. Drag it to the new position, and release to place it.


Bottom Bar

The bottom bar contains quick navigation options for frequently accessed areas.

Locations

Explore and switch between different locations within the chosen project.

Files

Displays all files you have access to within the selected project.

Forms

Displays all forms you have access to.

More Options

  • Quality - Displays all Quality Inspection Test Plans you are permitted to access within the selected project.

  • Tasks - Displays all your assigned tasks on Files and Forms.


Left-Hand Menu Options

The left-hand menu gives you access to global app settings and project switching.

Helps you choose and switch between projects you have access to.

  • The Projects window shows all your accessible projects, including your favourites.

Settings

Edit your personal information, including:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Contact information

  • Job title

  • Time zone

  • Language

  • Update your password

  • Form settings

  • Notifications settings

It also shows privacy terms and conditions and an option to write a log.

What's New

Includes all Release Notes with version numbers that provide information about updates on new features, changes that are positive enhancements and bug fixes.

About

View your installed app version number.

Logout

Log out of your current account.
