Managing Your Asite Field

To manage your Asite Field, tap on menu icon (with three parallel horizontal lines) showing at left hand side once signed in, and go to ‘Settings’ menu. It will open the ‘Settings’ screen as shown below.

Below is a description of the available options in ‘Settings’ screen:

  1. Profile Picture – Tap on pencil icon to set up Avatar.

    • It will open a screen from where you can take a picture using your device camera or select a picture manually from your local device storage. Once done, tap ‘Save’ to apply your new Avatar.
      Tap ‘Back’ to go back to the previous screen as and when required.

  2. First Name – Your first name as registered in your Asite account.

  3. Last Name – Your last name as registered in your Asite account.

  4. Email – Your email address as registered in your Asite account.

  5. Contact – Your phone number registered with Asite if any. You are free to update/edit your phone number by tapping on it, then tap on tick mark icon to save the changes.

  6. Job Title – Your job title as per your Asite account.

  7. Time Zone – Your time zone as configured in your Asite account. You are free to change your time zone by tapping on it.

  8. Language – Your language as configured in your Asite account. You are free to change your language by tapping on it.

  9. Change Password – Tap on right side arrow icon to reset your Asite password.

    • It will open a screen from where you can enter your current and new password for changing your Asite password. Once done, tap ‘Save’ to apply the changes.
      Tap ‘Cancel’ to go back to the previous screen as and when required.

  10. Form Settings – Tap on right side arrow icon to update form settings for your Asite Field app.

    • Available form setting will appear on next screen. Tap ‘Back’ to go back to the previous screen as and when required.

      • Include Closed Out Forms – Turn the switch on to include closed out forms in form listing on Asite Field app. Else turn it off.

  11. Notifications – Tap on right side arrow icon to setup notifications for your Asite Field app.

    • Available notification option will appear on next screen. Tap ‘Back’ to go back to the previous screen as and when required.

      • Push Notifications – Turn the switch on to enable push notifications from your Asite Field app. Else turn it off.

  12. Offline Data – Tap on right side arrow icon to update offline settings for Asite Field app.

    • Available offline settings will appear on next screen. Tap ‘Back’ to go back to the previous screen as and when required.

      • General Settings

        • Work Offline – Turn the switch on to enable working offline on your Asite Field app. Else turn it off.

      • Sync Settings

        • Sync on Mobile Data – Turn the switch on to enable synchronizing data marked for offline use while on mobile data. Else turn it off.

        • Include Attachments – Turn the switch on to enabled including attachments while synchronizing data marked for offline use.

  13. Privacy – Tap on right side arrow icon to view Asite privacy policy.

    • Asite Privacy Policy will appear in next screen. Tap ‘Back’ to go back to the previous screen as and when required.

  14. Write Log – Turn the switch on to enable sending of logs to server which helps the Asite team in tracking unexpected scenarios within app. Else turn it off.

  15. cBIM Settings Tap on right side arrow icon to update cBIM settings for Asite Field app.

    • Available cBIM settings will appear on next screen. Tap ‘Back’ to go back to the previous screen as and when required.

      • cBIM Settings

        • Navigation Speed – Move the slider to set the value for navigation speed you need while viewing cBIM models.

  16. About – Tap on right side arrow icon to view version number and release date of the Asite Field app currently installed on your device.

To move out of the ‘Settings’ screen whenever required, tap on left side arrow icon at top left.
